Why do we Celebrate Mother’s day?

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. Mothers and mother-figures are incomparable. They may be the first people we ever know when we enter the world, and they love and care for us as we grow up. Mother’s Day is one of those celebrations we should take time out of our busy lives to recognize. After all, we all have a mother and without her, we would not be here today.

Based on the word mother, you can truly find its meaning.

M in Mother is for… Meals

Making meals each day for a family is not an easy task, especially if Mom is a working mom that spends all day “earning the bacon” only to come home to picky kids that refuse to eat it. Aprons off to you, Mom and all those meals you made out of love and even the ones you heated up in the microwave.

O in Mother is for… Ointments

When you become a mother your bathroom cabinets and drawers contain less beauty products (who has time) and is replaced with assorted ointments and elixirs.

T in Mother is for… Teaching

Moms are the greatest teachers in the world. We learn from her a brand of skills that only a mom can provide. She teaches us how to walk, then run in a world that only wants to knock us down. She teaches us the art of negotiation on how to stand on our own for the first time and how to face bad circumstances with boldness and determination.

H in Mother is for… Hearing

Moms have supersonic hearing. They can determine the difference between a cry of annoyance or one of pain. Her ears are in tune to the giggles of first love and to detect the hushed cry of a broken heart. Moms hear what we say and what we don’t.

E in Mother is for… Eternal

The moment a baby is placed in a mother’s arms, she is eternally in love. It doesn’t matter what we look like, or smell like, a mother’s love holds fast. We can be the brightest kid in the class, or think that glue makes a good appetizer to lunch. Mom is always there to cheer us on to greatness or to offer a kind word when we stumble and fall on the road of life. A mother’s love is boundless and eternal.

R in Mother is for… Right

As teenagers we always think our moms are so out-of-tune to life. We think their “ancient” brand of wisdom is ridiculous and that we ourselves know it all. However, after we chase after our own understanding, we usually come back to realize that Mom was right (whether we admit it to her or not). She was right about the latest look not being quite right for us (blue hair did not suit my skintone), she was right about needing to study hard, even though we wanted to spend the extra time with friends and she was right about the “bad boy” breaking our heart. Thank you to all your rightness, mom, and for still being there, without the I-told-you-so’s, once we figured it out.

Let’s celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day. Let’s appreciate her for all she’s done and all she has seen us through. It’s only one day even though she deserves this and so much more.

High School Life

It is surprising how few people, when asked to remember their life at high school, immediately start speaking about their relationships with each other, with teachers, their participation in various extracurricular activities and so on – that is, about anything but the very thing that they were supposed to be doing when at school – studying. I don’t say it is bad, I don’t say it is the result of them being preoccupied with things of secondary importance. On the contrary, I think that it is a symptom that proves what I always thought about during my own school years.

High school, well i can only say that it’s the best experience while i am living in this planet, without high school, well, life is a bit boring. Most of the people i met tells me that high school is the best, and i agree that. Being high school is the best part in my school days, more friends is the more happiness you experience but there is always an antagonist that will ruined your day. Especially those moments that I’ve tried to escaped the class just to go somewhere and enjoy the day.

Life through high school is an extraordinary feelings of every teenagers that goes through. For me, it is the most exciting and happiest moments on a student’s life. I actually didn’t believe that before because i always study and making my assignments in the first time. I am afraid that i could get low grades. Until I get new friends, friends who are not afraid that their grades fall down. We enjoyed every moment we escaped in the class.

High school life is also the time to meet new friends and build a friendship, shared laughter, cry together and had our moments.

When I lost my Faith to God

Like many people who are raised in a religious environment, I was taught to believe that God loves me and protects me. I was taught that God punishes sin, and rewards those who are faithful.  I prayed and I worship Him. This was supposed to strengthen my faith. It was supposed to makes me happy. For many years, it did. I cherished Sundays spent in church — singing, kneeling and feeling inspired when i heard the words of God. My parents taught me to have faith in God no matter what circumstances passed by.

Until when I’m grow up and had many questions in my mind that I can’t find the answer. Yes, I do believe God that he will guide me and protect me. But there was a time that i give up. I don’t know if I would believe Him.

I lost my faith to God because of what I’ve seen from the environment, from the people i love, and when i was in a hardest time that i thought i can’t strive.  All of those appeared at the same time. When I was at the hardest time, that moment we have misunderstanding of my parents. Its hard to blame…Because for me, when you are truly a servant a GOD, you will act spiritually, not just by words but you should apply it to yourself first before you share and taught to other people. It must be seen it to ourselves.

I stopped going to church every Sunday and i stop praying because for me it is been useless. What is the used of going to church and listen the words of God without your heart and mind to Him.. I know it is wrong. I want to find myself where I belong. I want to change but I don’t know how to start. Until chances are came and lead me the way back to God. Every week, we memorize verses and deep inside in my heart i put it, no matter what people say. Now i understand the meaning of spiritually.  I started to change and try to hold my anger. I asked forgiveness to God and try to be kind..I know God will help me and guide me and i don’t want to lost again.

Must Watch Movies

Each of us has a favorite movie to watch and when we enjoy watching it, we want to play it again.

I have many favorite movies but i will only give few of them.

I like it the most because this movie taught us to be kind to the people we’ve meet in our life and show goodness to everyone.

When the Evil Queen ordered the woodsman to kill Snow White, he failed, not because he was incapable but because Snow White appealed to the goodness in him.

Snow White believed that deep inside, the woodsman is capable of kindness. Snow White was right, there’s goodness in each and every one of us.

This movie makes me laugh and cry.

PK is a 2014 Indian satirical science fiction comedy film. A stranger’s childlike curiosity and world-view challenges people’s long-held notions, making friends of some and foes of others. One of the biggest life lessons we could learn from the movie Pk is the fact that marketing beats content, show beats substance, and brand names beat quality. Life Lessons from the movie What happens when we start seeing from our inside to outside.

PK- The movie !  We enter this world just like PK- naked, without knowledge about what the world contains or any understanding about right or wrongs. !  We are taught everything as we grow up and start believing what people tell us and what we see. !  But what we are taught is correct? How do we know that? And then we start asking logical questions which some people have problems with.

That was the movie that i’d like to watch all over again.

Craziest Things I’ve Done

Have you ever done something crazy in your life?Um well the craziest stuff I’ve done, I would rather forget. It was a National Rover Moot Scout held in Danao Forest Park Maasin, City. I was a student in Maasin City College at that time and we are the one hosted the event. It was a third day of the activity when we are assigned in one of the barangay of Danao which is North Maboloc. There was a program during the night and there was also a disco after the program. I was very excited at that time because I want to experience dancing in the disco and only few people know me at that place. I started to dance with my classmates when someone asked me to be his partner. I do dancing with him….. Unexpectedly, the host of the program announced that there would be a contest in dancing together with your partner. I wanted to back out and sit down in a corner but i was on the spot. So, I decided to dance on the go with him.(Actually he was from Davao, i forgot the exact place in Davao.)We dance gracefully, and I didn’t think and care what the people saw and say.. We won the contest..I’ve heard some humors from my classmates because they didn’t expect me that i can do that things. I am very ashamed at that time but I’ve never regret what i’ve done because there was a prize. That was a best experience ever.

Another craziest thing I’ve ever done was held in Brgy. Agbanga, Matalom Leyte. It was a fiest day of their barangay.  I was a high school student and a member of drum and bugle corps of my school. The barangay captain convey the adviser of our band to join and lead the parade. After the parade, we are all invited to have lunch in the house of the brgy. captain. There was only one table of their house and it is full of cuisine. I was able to ate at the chair. When I finished my lunch, someone gave me a dessert. I didn’t know where to put my plate, what I did is I position my legs and put the plate… When I started to ate the dessert, someone walked in front of me and touched my legs. So, the plate fell at the floor. I became a head turner in that day.. I felt uncomfortable after that..

My Ideal Partner

Every woman dreams to have a perfect and wonderful life partner. But finding a perfect ones nowadays is not an easy as ABC. There are many things I look for in a relationship and in a partner, loyalty and respect being at the top. I would never want my partner to make me feel like I was a second choice and not good enough for him, just as much as I would not want my partner to feel that way. Loyalty is about support and allegiance, my partner needs to support my decisions and my goals in life. Another is respect to admire each abilities and achievements and never put them down. A relationship must be balance so that it will work.

My ideal partner would be a combination of different qualities. Someone that I can trust and feel i can confide anything to. Someone that respects me for who I am and my aspiration and willing to accept my flaws.Someone that treat me as his equal. I want to be with someone that aspire to achieve great things in life. Someone that can make me laugh even in a worst situation and comfort me when I’m really feeling down.

Another, my ideal partner must know how to hold responsibilities in order to live. He must be responsible to me and to the children that we will have.

Last is an ideal partner of mine should be honest. Honesty is vital in a relationship in order to sustain our relation. And most of all, He has a strong relation with God.

Things to do before I Die

We live for a purpose and living without a vision is simply a waste of time. Each one of us have many goals in life that we want to achieve before we die but we don’t know when it is our time whether we can obtain it or not.

Here are the things I want to do before I die:

First: I want to finish my study and have a stable job.

I want to find stable job so that i can live and earn money.

Second: I want to help those who are in needs by  giving foods to the poor, helping those street children and other things that i can offer.

Third is I want to get married before I die and have a family because they are the one who can give happiness and inspiration to strive the difficult challenges came to our life.

Fourth: I want to travel beautiful places around the world with my family.

Fifth is the most important i want to do..I want to be good person. I want to become a member of any legionary commission where i able to inspire young children, teach them to be good and help them develop their moral values.

I know, I am not sure that i can make it all because life is short. But one thing i can sure, i want to enjoy the rest of my life and show kindness to the people.. that is all that matters the most.

Why Save Mother Earth?

 

We hear and read so much about protecting and saving the planet Earth. Why should we be concerned when we are also facing economic crises, wars and unending social problems as a society? The simplest explanation about why the environment matters is that, as humans, the environment-the Earth-is our home. It is where we live, breathe, eat, etc. Our entire life support system is dependent on the well-being of all of the species living on earth. Taking care of the Earth is important to our well-being. Did you know that the Earth was designed to create and provide all of us with the ability to have balance everyday of our live?

It is the only home we have and it’s time for us to appreciate, love, and respect our home. That is why we need to celebrate earth day  to conserve energy, recycle, and keep our neighborhoods clean every day! Let us bear in our mind that we have to conserve our mother earth for the next next generation.   Many experts believe that we can reverse some of the harm the planet has suffered. The challenge is getting enough people to take drastic enough action so that we can make a difference in our lifetime.

Below are five reasons why we should take care of the Earth!

1. It’s the only home we have.
2. It grounds us.
3. It provides us with food and water.
4. It gives us a place to run and play.
5. It is a living entity.

 

Places I want to visit in Southern Leyte

Southern Leyte  is a province in the Philippines located in the Eastern Visayas Region. Its capital is the city of Maasin. 

There are many beautiful tourist spot that can be found in Southern Leyte where you will be amaze because of its natural beauty and you can enjoy your vacation.

Here are the following beautiful places I want to visit in Southern Leyte:

Cagnituan Falls in Maasin City, Southern Leyte is situated on the the bosom of the City preserved mini forest . It is fantastically awesome God’s masterpiece creation. This is a must – see tourist attraction.

 

Macrohon, Southern Leyte

Cambaro Cave the caving capital of Southern Leyte is located in Brgy. Cambaro, Macrohon. It boasts of countless of caves still waiting to be explored.

 

For the record, Napantao Marine Sanctuary is not it Padre Burgos. It’s in Panaon Island, Southern Leyte.

Napantao marine sanctuary offers amazing dive spots (North Wall and South Wall)

Non-divers need not worry because you can still experience the beauty of this marine sanctuary even when you’re just snorkeling.

It boasts a variety of coral, invertebrate, and fish species

There are so many places that i want to visit in Southern Leyte to experience and see the wonderful creation of the nature. But it takes time and need budget for the tour.. Someday i will visit those beautiful places in God’s will.
